Please join us for the third training session of 2023.  The venue is the Orange County Family Justice Center, located at 150 W. Vermont Avenue, Anaheim, CA 92805.

This session’s topic will be border crossings of fraudulently purchased cars, fraud rentals, and where the vehicles are going when they leave this country.  Investigators Ray Diaz and Mitch Sanchez from the California Highway Patrol will provide attendees with valuable information on how thieves are obtaining vehicles from dealers and rental agencies, crossing the border, and what is happening to those vehicles.  They will also discuss how to lower the risk of becoming a victim of this type of fraud and what to do if you are a victim.  A round table introduction will be conducted with all attendees after the training and lunch.  Networking with members of the vehicle industry is highly encouraged, so bring plenty of business cards to pass out.  For more information, go to our new website: WSATI.org.
