GALPIN MuseumPlease join us for the second training session of 2023. The venue is the Galpin Auto Sports Museum in the City of Van Nuys. This location was built in 1946 by Frank Galpin. The current owner, Bert Boeckmann, worked for Frank Galpin, becoming General Manager in 1957. Bert and his wife, Jane, became the sole owners of Galpin Ford in 1968.

This session’s topic will be technology and its use to commit auto theft. Nick Pepper and Detective Russ Pungrchar from the Los Angeles County Taskforce for Regional Auto-Theft Prevention (T.R.A.P.), will provide attendees with valuable information on how thieves are using electronic devices to commit auto theft and the technology law enforcement is using to identify them once vehicles are recovered. A round table introduction will be conducted with all attendees after the training and lunch. Networking with members of the vehicle industry is highly encouraged, so bring plenty of business cards to pass out. For more information, go to our new website: www.WSATI.org

Please RSVP by March 12, 2023 if you are planning to attend so we can plan accordingly.
